RYAN Edwards and Steve Tomassen were the only first teamers who featured as Airbus crashed out of the NEWFA Cup to Holywell Town at Flint's Cae-y-Castello.

The writing was on the wall as early as the fifth minute when a shot from Mark Winslade deflected off Harvey Ellis and rolled into the net past wrong-footed keeper David Szczepaniak.

The Wingmakers went close when former Airbus keeper Shaun Pearson pushed a shot into a post and was fortunate to have the ball rebound into his arms.

But Winslade had a shot cleared off the line by Ellis while Matt Harvey headed just wide from a Phil Lloyd cross.

Holywell went further ahead after the break when Lewis controlled well before shooting low into the bottom corner and Shaun Tuck made it three when he chased a ball over the defence and chipped the advancing keeper.
