AIRBUS eased into the semi-finals of the NEWFA Challenge Cup with a comfortable 3-0 win over Buckley Town in which several of the club's Under-19s played a key role.

Joe Davies, Oli Lanceley, Blake Robinson and Jack Murphy all started the game, with Iwan Jones and Nathan Okome making their first team debuts from the bench and sub Liam Schofield adding the third goal late on.

After Ryan Edwards had spurned a gilt-edged chance to put the Wingmakers in front, the first goal arrived on the quarter hour when a visiting defender headed into his own net attempting to clear Lanceley's shot.

A second soon followed when Ryan Edwards rounded the keeper for a cool finish after being played-in by Robinson. Buckley played some neat football without finding a cutting edge, although it took a clinical tackle from Davies to deny a promising attack before Schofield settled matters to set-up a last four meeting with either Holywell Town, Ruthing Town, Queens Park or Mold Alex.
