AIRBUS claimed the derby honours with a 3-0 away win at Flint Town United, completing a league double over the Silkmen.
The early chances went to the hosts with Carl Rodgers firing just over the bar and Stefan Halewood heading narrowly wide from a Joe Palmer free kick. Danny Taylor set-up a chance for the Wingmakers when he found Alfons Fosu-Mensah who failed to find the target after neatly side-stepping his marker.
Kyle Smyth drew a good save from keeper Dave Roberts while Nathan Quirk curled an effort just wide of the Flint goal before Airbus took the lead when Kristian Platt headed home from a corner.
Four minutes later the lead was doubled when Niki Lee-Bulmer parried a Lewis Buckley shot and, when Flint failed to clear the rebound, Buckley was left with a simple lob the ball into an empty net.
Five minutes after the break the physical hosts paid the price when Halewood was sent-off for his second caution of the night and, within minutes, Fosu-Mensah sealed the win with a well-taken goal.
Seeking a consolation, Flint went close with| Roberts denying Andy Brown and then tipping a Chris Budrys header over the bar to keep his fourth consecutive clean sheet since joining from Llandudno.
