ANDY Preece was pleased with the performance against Llandudno although obviously disappointed to be on the wrong end of a 4-3 scoreline.

"We dominated the majority of the game and I don't know how we conceded four goals, it's just a couple of individual errors and poor marking at a set play.

"But, in between that, I think we've played pretty well and created lots of opportunities, scored three goals and I've been pleased with the actual performance but the result is a massive disappointment for us.

"Credit to Llandudno, they worked really hard, defended for their lives and when we gave them an opportunity they took it."

Tony Gray broke the Airbus club record for Welsh Premier goals in a season but missed a golden chance to snatch a dramatic stoppage time equaliser.

"When he's in that sort of area you expect him to at least hit the target so he'll be disappointed with that but he's done great for us, scored a lot of goals, obviously broken the club record and keeps him clear at the top of the Golden Boot and hopefully he'll get that," Preece added. "But Jordan's strike was tremendous, it was a great finish, but we just couldn't stay in the game long enough.

"They were clinical today, you've got to give them credit for it and for the whole season, they've done fantastically well and they've taken 10 points out of 12 off us, so fair play to them."

The defeat means third place is almost certainly unattainable for the Wingmakers, but Preece still has two options remaining for European qualification.

"Any route will be good enough for us whether it's the play-offs, whether it's through the Welsh Cup, it doesn't matter as long as we get there," he commented.
