DIRECTOR of football Andy Preece is not too worried by an early season dip in form that has already left his side seven points adrift of TNS.

Last weekend's 2-1 defeat at Aberystwyth was the Wingmakers' third in four games, but Preece says: "Our target was always first to get into the top six, then from there obviously we are looking for European qualification.

"Nothing has changed on that score."

Again denied a crucial penalty at Park Avenue, Preece was tight-lipped, saying only: "I don't want to talk about the game other than say well done to Aber on getting three points.

"We are now looking forward to the Rhyl game."

The Wingmakers won one, lost one and shared two draws with the Lilywhites last season on their return to the top flight and Preece expects another tough battle as his side seek to return to winning ways at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium on Saturday (2.30pm).

The Wingmakers won one, lost one and shared two draws with the Lilywhites last season on their return to the top flight and will be keen to add to extend their good record.

"Rhyl is always a hard game and we've had really good matches against them since they've been back in the league.

"Greg Strong always has them really well organised and he finds good players to bring in. "They are a good side and it will be another really hard test."
