DIRECTOR of football Andy Preece is likely to experiment with his line-ups for the remaining two Welsh Premier fixtures of the season.

But Preece says that, despite having nothing to play for, he does not want the season to just fizzle out.

The Wingmakers host Carmarthen Town on Saturday (2.30) in a game that has switched to Cefn Druids' The Rock due to the unavailability of the Hollingsworth Group Stadium.

"We are already preparing for Europe and next season and we need to use these last two games, but obviously we want to get as many points as we can and I'll be looking to get six points," Preece says.

Airbus have beaten the Old Gold on all three occasions that they have met in the league this season, starting with a 1-0 home win in the first game of the season back in August when Richie Partridge struck in the 89th-minute.

That was followed by 1-0 and 2-1 away wins at Richmond Park in November and March.

Meanwhile, Preece says he is delighted that players approached by The New Saints have decided to remain with Airbus.

He accused the champions of "taking the mick" by approaching Lewis Short last week after previous attempts to lure Lee Owens, Mike Pearson and Ashley Williams to Park Hall.

"All four had a chance to speak to TNS and they could have trebled their wages, but it's a feather in our cap that they want to stay here and it's testament to the great team spirit we have, you can't buy that," he added.
