AIRBUS UK Broughton chief Andy Preece was disappointed at having to settle for a 1-1 draw with reigning champions TNS, but hailed a "superb performance".
"All the lads that have got on the pitch have worked their socks off," Preece said.
"We got a bit tired in the last 15 minutes but we created the better opportunities, we gave as good as we got and that's all we could ask for against a really good team.
"I thought it was a superb performance for the whole 90 minutes.
"There was no quarter given on both sides and credit to them because we put them under pressure for a long time and they stood up to it well."
The Wingmakers went a goal down when Chris Marriott's corner found the net after a mix-up between Lee Owens and keeper James Coates, but Chris Budrys restored parity with an excellent second-half strike.
"Obviously the goal we conceded was disappointing because they haven't really earned it and we had to earn our chances," Preece added.
"We had enough of them to win the game so that's a disappointment, but we can't take any negatives out of today's game."
