THE Wingmakers have signed two new players - wingman Stephen Connor and defender Steve Tomassen.
Connor is a diminutive winger who established himself as a key player for the Everton Under-18 side and was a regular in the reserves.
In the summer of 2007, he signed for Scottish First Division side Partick Thistle on a six-month loan deal but, after making his debut as a substitute in a 1–1 draw with Stirling Albion, his spell in Scotland was blighted by injury.
Connor also had a brief spell at TNS in 2008/9 and appeared in four Welsh Premier games for Bangor City a season later.
Tomassen, an 18-year-old defender, arrives on a loan deal from Wrexham where he progressed through the Centre of Excellence and made his senior debut in the last league game of the 2010/11 season at Luton Town.
Tomassen continued to build on his promise in the Summer of 2011, putting in some useful performances at right back which showed that, apart from being solid defensively he is also confident going forwards.
As a regular in the Reserves throughout his two-year apprenticeship, Steve was rewarded with the offer of a professional contract in 2012.
