The Wingmakers next test in this Season Super 12 is that of Alan Morgan`s Aberystwyth Town who visit the Airfield for a 2pm Kick Off today.
Aber have started the season in good form beating Carmarthen Town 3-2 away from home in the 1st Live game of the Season and will be disapointed to have dropped 2 points having lead Newtown 2-0 at one stage last weekend. Morgan was at Airbus` home fixture v Llanelli on the opening weekend of the Season and will be hoping he can prevent the Wingmakers from taking the points.
Aber have recruited a number of players during the summer including journeyman Ricky Evans along with a couple of youngsters Lewis Codling and Luke Powell, Departing Park Avenue however are Geoff Kellaway who is now plying his trade in the A League in Australia and also Luke Bowen who has joined Port Talbot Town.
Airbus go into the game of the back of 2 very good performances versus Llanelli where we were unlucky not to get anything from the game and a comprehensive victory in our first away game of the season at Richmond Park Carmarthen last weekend were Andy Moran opened his Airbus Account with a brace.
Manager Craig Harrison has only Gio Feliciello unavailable for selection after the Left Back picked up 2 yellows in South Wales and sits this one out, the remainder of the Squad have trained this week with no current injuries to report.
2 Additions available for this week are Wrexham Loanee`s Defender Leon Clowes and Striker Nick Rushton who are on 12 month and 6 month Loans respectively, Clowes is available after a 4 match ban was served with Wrexham and Rushton`s loan was processed in time for him to be considered for selection.
With Newtown at the Airfield in the Cup on Tuesday Manager Harrison will be deciding how to approach both games to gain the best results.
