HERE is the club's team of the week across all age groups for the weekend of 10 - 14 February.

1: Shaun Pearson (First Team)
“Peo” was in superb form of friday night as the First Team secured both a clean sheet a valuable point as their relegation battle continues. Shaun was also named in Scoria’s 5 on form for the past weekend.
Andrew Thomas - First Team Manager

2: Ryan Atkinson (U10)
Ryan scored two and created a further two goals in the U10 tuesday night win over Blacon Youth.
Jack Seery / Rhys Hewitt - U10 Coaches

3: Ben Reidford (U12)
Ben came on and immediately stopped the gap Connahs Quay wide threat. He went on to score both the wingmakers goals in the U12 2-1 Academy Cup victory.
Tom Wellings - U12 Coach

4: Steve Tomassen (First Team)
Another assured display from central defender Tomassen as the first team gained a vital 0-0 draw in friday nights game with mbi Llandudno.
Andrew Thomas - First Team Manager

5: Logan Jones (U8)
It was Logan’s third excellent game in a row on saturday against Rhyl. As always his reading of the game and tackling were immense, and it was also nice to see Logan comfortable in possession and playing some excellent passes out from the back.
Dave Riley - U8 Coach

6: Marcus Roberts (U11)
A polished, all round performance from Marcus, as he controlled the midfield well defensively. In attack he created two of the three U11 goals in their 3-1 win over Rhyl.
Colin Parsonage / Lee Starkey - U11 Coaches

7: Rhys Evans (U9)
A disciplined display from Rhys who defended strongly and showed some great touches to assist others for their goals.
Mark Allen - U9 Coach

8: Mikey Burkey (U8)
Mikey’s work rate and quality on the ball were superb to watch as the U18 ran out 5-0 winners over Borras Park. Mikey also got himself on the scoresheet after finding himself on the end of a fine team move.
Nathan Nicholls / Rick Chapman - U18 Coaches

9: Oliver Lanceley (U16)
Oli led the line extremely well for the U16 in their monday night Academy Cup win over gap Connahs Quay. He won flick ons and held the ball up well to bring other players into the game. It was an all round excellent centre forward display from the big striker.
Jamie Crowther / Mark Allen - U16 Coaches

10: Owen Jones (U13)
Playing in two positions, Owen’s movement and link up play was a different class. He also worked extremely hard all throughout the U13 game away at last seasons Academy Cup winners.
Tom Adams / Ryan Edwards - U13 Coaches

11: Ben Swift (U15)
The wide man helped himself to a hat trick as his pace and directness caused Rhyl plenty of problems throughout. It was a standout display in what was an excellent team display.
James Roberts / Carl Cunnah - U15 Coaches

12: Barnie Simpson (U14)
Barnie produced an excellent display in goal for the U14 in their fixture with Shrewsbury Town on Saturday. His late save in the third period was to prove the turning point as the wingmakers got themselves a creditable draw.
Dave Riley / Colin Parsonage - U14 Coaches

13: Jonnie Bucknall (U14)
Jonnie produced yet another excellent display at the heart of the U14 midfield. His direct running was a constant threat to the Connahs Quay backline and he was unlucky not to be rewarded with a goal.
Dave Riley / Colin Parsonage - U14 Coaches

14: Christie Stanton (U14 Girls)
Confident again in goal, Christie was always an option at the back to help keep possession. She also made some superb saves to the Wingmakers in the game.
Lauren Davies - Airbus Girls

15: Sinead Crawford (Ladies)
Confident performance to keep the team in the game while under pressure and also a performance which led to an important three points for the Ladies team.
Lee Starkey - Airbus Ladies Assistant Manager

16: Ellie Vickers (U10 Girls)
Ellie showed great vision on and off the ball. She produced a strong attacking performance for the Girls.
Lauren Davies - Airbus Girls

Well done to all those who have been selected for the club team of the week this week!!
