ACADEMY graduates Lee Jones, Harry Keeley and Liam Schofield impressed for the first team in last Friday's win over Morecambe U21.
All three players made their first team bows as second half substitutes in last Friday's 8-0 win over Morecambe U21 at The Hollingsworth Group Stadium.
Defender Lee Jones, was the first to make an appearance coming on as a second half substitute and impressing with his composure on the ball and also his excellent positioning.
Liam Schofield came off the bench and made a devastating impact, as he bagged his first senior goal after only 15 minutes on the pitch. It was a smart close range finish from Schofield who has continually impressed during his time with the U18 this season. Liam was also unlucky not to have scored a second when his goal bound effort was turned over the line by Liam O'Neill with a defender closing in.
Also making an appearance as a second half substitute was full back Harry Keeley. With time running out Keeley was involved in the build up to the wingmakers eighth goal and showed some good touches.
Well done to all three players.
